Welcome to Rustico di Gandria, a charming apartment nestled in the heart of one of Ticino's most authentic and picturesque villages, where time seems to slow down and Lake Lugano provides the backdrop for every moment. Furnished with care and attention to detail, it is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy a relaxing, romantic, and atmospheric stay.

The apartment can accommodate up to 4 people and has a double bedroom with a comfortable bed (160x200) and a sofa bed in the living area. The balcony offers picturesque views of the historic center, the lake, and the surrounding mountains, perfect for an aperitif at sunset or a moment of quiet.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped and designed to make you feel at home: you will find a dishwasher with tablets included, as well as coffee, tea, spices, sugar, salt, and pepper at your disposal. The bathroom is spacious and relaxing, equipped with a bathtub, towels, and a welcome kit with shampoo and soap.

The location is one of its strong points: you will find yourself in the heart of Gandria, a few steps from typical restaurants, historic arcades, and the pier, from which you can take picturesque boat trips on Lake Lugano. Nature lovers and those who enjoy scenic walks can take the famous Sentiero dell'Olivo (Olive Tree Trail), which connects Gandria to Lugano via a unique route.

Gandria is a pedestrian village. You can drive down to the village to unload your luggage, after which you will need to park and walk to your accommodation, climbing a few steps. Public parking is about a 7-minute walk away: along the main road in Via Strada di Gandria or in the car park after the barrier, down on the left. After booking, you will receive instructions on how to open the barrier.

Please note: the white parking spaces located on the descent after the no-entry sign are reserved for residents only.

The cost of municipal parking is 12 CHF per day or 1 CHF per hour. Alternatively, we can arrange a general parking permit for you: 1 day (11 CHF), 2 days (22 CHF), 3 days (33 CHF), 1 week (44 CHF), or 2 weeks (88 CHF). This permit allows you to park freely throughout Lugano, in blue and white parking spaces (excluding parking garages and certain specific areas, which will be indicated to you).
